So I just finished my spring semester at Tech and I am enjoying the freedom of no classes, and no expectations. Or so I thought. The minute I came back home, my parents come up to me and ask me how my finals were. Nothing out of the ordinary. But the next thing they say completely took me off guard: "So you can start studying for MCATs 4-6 hours a day until you go to Korea." Next thing I know, they haul my butt into the car and take me to Barnes & Noble to buy me an MCAT book. And you know how much it cost? $99. I could have bought a new pair of basketball shoes......
And so right now, I am at a White Windmill Bakery by myself being a complete loner and reading a book and wasting my summer away. Oh well, I kind of brought this upon myself: this was the only thing I could do to escape the confinements of home and I said that would study MCATs so I could be sent to Korea. I guess we will see if Korea is worth my suffering.
